Hi! I’m Imogen, and I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m a lover of all things Austen, reading, yearning, and daydreaming. I’m a former classical musician and was (predictably) an English major in college. Nowadays, I like to spend my time reading all kinds of romance novels, rewatching my favorite Austen adaptations and drinking matcha lattes.

With The Austen Box, I’ve carefully curated beautiful editions of Austen’s novels, along with my favorite Austen retellings, and paired them with delightful Austen-themed gifts and ephemera. Is this all just a ploy for me to add even more to my Austen collection? Maybe, but at least now I’m doing it with friends.

Frequently Asked Quesions

When does The Austen Box ship?

Each box will ship on or around the 5th of each month. You will receive a notification when your box ships, along with tracking information.

If you purchase between the 1st and 25th of the month, you will receive the following month's box. If you purchase between the 25th and 31st of the month, you will receive your first box on the 5th of the month after next (e.g.: if you purchase on September 28th, your box will ship November 5th, but you will not be charged October 15th).

How much is shipping?

Subscription boxes will ship for a flat fee of $5.00, which will be added at checkout.

When will I be billed?

You will be charged when you place your order for your first box on the day that you place the order.

After your first box, your payment method will be billed on the 15th of the month in order to receive the box the following month (e.g., you will be billed on November 15th for the box that will ship the first week of December).

Is the Austen Box returnable?

We are unable to issue refunds for The Austen Box orders that have already been processed. However, if you receive a damaged item, please let us know right away at support@theaustenbox.com and we will work together to make it right.
